NCF-Resinply
Introduction of new NCF products applicable to press molding such as continuous compression molding.
Features Regarding design flexibility, there is a notable adaptability in specifications such as material selection, laminate composition, and stitch design. Additionally, it is possible to continuously produce substrates with reinforcing fibers oriented both vertically and horizontally, as well as diagonally, allowing for product proposals tailored to customer requirements. For imparting drapeability, the selection of reinforcing fibers and resins, design of basis weight, laminate composition, and stitch conditions can facilitate material deformation, or conversely, adjust the material to achieve shape stability under load. In terms of labor-saving in the molding process, during the lamination process, there is no need to separately laminate or inject resin layers as with conventional NCF; instead, cut materials can be directly laminated and heated under pressure to obtain molded products. Regarding the ability to achieve stable quality molded products, NCF-Resinply is a material where the reinforcing fibers (NCF) and resin layers are integrated through stitching, which minimizes disturbances in fiber orientation due to resin flow during heating and pressurization, thereby enhancing fiber orientation accuracy. As a result, the molded products can achieve various physical properties, including strength and rigidity, as intended by the designer.
